Duration:
3 years
Short Description:
Explorative Research Project financed by Apulia Regional funds (2006-08). The research Project aimed at developing innovative nanocomposite polymeric (based on epoxy-silice) adhesives with superior durability against environmental agents, to be used in the reinforcement and restoration applications of both civil and monumental historical structures. The Project was carried out in collaboration with a Research Center (CNR Institute of Archaeological Heritage, Monuments and Sites, Lecce (IT)) and Companies (Bianco Cave s.r.l., Melpignano, Lecce (IT); SAFE Marine Nanotechnologies, Ferentino, Frosinone (IT)).
